جاویدنام عاطفه عابد، لیسانس حقوق و نوعروس میهنپرست ۲۳ ساله، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در مشهد جان باخت. او بر اثر شلیک مستقیم گلوله به سر توسط نیروهای سرکوبگر در جریان خیزش سراسری کشته شد. عاطفه در حالی که کنار والدینش ایستاده بود، مورد اصابت گلوله قرار گرفت و در آغوش والدینش جان سپرد. کشته شدن او در جریان جنبش انقلابی، معروف به انقلاب شیر و خورشید، رخ داد. یاد عاطفه عابد به عنوان جوان ۲۳ سالهای که زندگیاش در بحبوحه اعتراضات ایران به ناحق ستانده شد، گرامی داشته میشود.
